For some of the former Windsor Farm Foods Cowra cannery employees, their most memorable - and emotional - moment working at the site may well just involve Orgran gluten-free spaghetti.

On Monday, that was the last product to be canned at the North Logan Road facility, ending more than seven decades of food processing in Cowra.
The cannery, along with Windsor Farm Foods’ dry goods business in western Sydney, was placed into voluntary administration in March and eventually liquidation by creditors in April when it become apparent no business was willing to continue its operations.
It came after directors feared the company was on the brink of trading insolvent, with the group not making a profit since 2008 and had lost more than $2 million in the six months to December 2012.
Of the 70 plus workers employed at the cannery, some were retained throughout the past two months on a casual basis to complete product orders, with the last order filled on Monday.
The retained staff only have some labelling to do before they can despatch the remaining stock, which should all be completed within a few weeks.
The cannery plant and equipment will then go up for auction, while the sale of the plant and building is expected to be finalised soon.
All of the historical paraphernalia from the cannery site has been passed on to the Cowra Historical Society.
