Your new role

As a Distribution Centre Manager within this exciting and innovative company, your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate and drive from strategic plans to ensure improvement targets are met
  • Monitor and lead teams to deliver on these improvements
  • Mentor and coach the people in your team
  • Implement processes into the Distribution Centre
  • Ensure all cycle counts are completed with any corrections made
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage medium to large projects
  • Educate the business through production and engineering and raise awareness of new systems and lean principles

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound experience in managing a Distribution Centre
  • Experience in implementing quality systems and tools
  • An excellent ability to communicate and work well with peers and the wider business
  • Experience in Lean practices
  • Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • A forward thinking attitude
  • A focus on positive relationship management of people
  • Experiencing in managing a team
