About Our Client

Established in 1979, this Organisation is an Australian-owned company which manufactures, imports and distributes quality irrigation equipment for commercial and domestic use throughout Australia.They are one of Australia's largest wholesale and manufacturing suppliers of irrigation, with offices in every major city, they supply commercial resellers, retail irrigation, hardware, plumbing and rural stores.There is now an opportunity for a Territory Manager to look after the Victorian metropolitan region

Job Description

Responsible for the profitable growth of market share through the maintenance, monitoring and development of the Organisation's services. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining existing and expanding the companies range to customers within your assigned sales territory
  • Proactively managing and building your sales territory
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key decision makers from the customer base which includes retail irrigation, hardware, plumbing and rural stores
  • Providing technical advice and expertise on our range to the customer base
  • Coordinating training and trade events with your customers and their customer base.
  • Achieving sales budgets and KPI's
  • Continual prospecting and developing of new business

The Successful Applicant

  • 2 years experience with turf irrigation principles and design for commercial and domestic, ideally within the Agricultural space
  • Must have experience and understand the wholesale market, ideally you will have business development experience within retail irrigation, hardware, plumbing and rural stores
  • Demonstrated key account management and ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to lead and achieve with a high level of commitment and integrity
  • Strong negotiating and highly developed analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills especially Microsoft Office
