Project Manager

Protech SA are seeking a Project Manager for ongoing work located in Adelaide.

Protech is a privately owned Australian business which provides industry- leading technical and professional workforce acquisition and management services, specialising in the provision of semi- skilled, skilled, technical, trades and professional personnel. With over 3000 people working in the civil infrastructure, asphalt building construction, mining, defence, engineering, and maintenance sectors.

KEY DUTIES

• Experience in managing small portfolio of works (1-5 projects simultaneously) upto an individual value of $1m
• Demonstrated Experience in Project Management Processes, including Front End Loading of Stage Gated systems
• Demonstrated experience around Risk Management systems, Prevention and control
• Good working knowledge around Structural Remediation and Equipment Selection in corrosive environments
• Demonstrated Key Stakeholder Relationship Skills

EDUCATION AND SKILLSETS

• Tertiary qualified Civil/Structural, Mechanical or E&I engineer, Min 4 year experience
• Demonstrated successful delivery of a small capital projects portfolio of works
• Ability to work on own initiative whilst being supported by Regional Lead
• Eye for detail and ability to prepare and deliver compelling project proposals to management

Desirables but not essential

• RPEQ or Chartered Engineer
• Project Management Qualifications
• WHS Qualifications (Cert iv or higher)

Would suit someone with previous Mining or Chemical/Fertiliser processing background, as works are predominantly based around Structure remediation, Conveyor and Hoppers and Environmental regulation.
