ITAR Assurance

Your new company
Your new company is a Multinational Engineering company that is looking for a ITAR Assurance Commercial Contract Manager with an NV1 clearance to join their Adelaide based team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the control of documentation, internal compliance and assuring the alignment of policies and frameworks as seen fit by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You will be required to:

• Audit Technology control plan to make sure it’s in line with ITAR policy requirements, and to continually update as seen appropriate
• Draft amendments to expired/inaccurate agreements
• Audit SPO staff with Technology Control Plan
• Improve processes – while keeping within ITAR guidelines

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

• Strong previous experience in a Commercial/Contracts Management position
• Must have a valid NV1 clearance
• Ability to access ITAR material
• Demonstrated ability to conduct internal audits and compliance activities
• Procurement Import/Export experience desirable
• Experience in ITAR compliance desirable
• Ability to work well and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
• Confident Communicator with ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels
