Hays Education is a leading supplier of casual and permanent staff to the Early Childhood sector in Sydney. We work with a large range of quality centres including not-for-profit, council-run and community centres.

Due to increased demand in for Hays casual workers we require
- Certificate III
- Diploma
- ECT
qualified Educators who are available to work in childcare services in North Sydney / Northern Beaches locations (across Lane Cove, Chatswood, Neutral Bay, Seaforth, Fairlight, Dee Why, Brookvale, Belrose, French Forest etc).

Your new job

The objective of this role is to contribute to the care and education of children as a member of the teaching team, establish and support the development of appropriate programs for both individual and groups of children in conjunction with The Early Years Learning Framework.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the centre's philosophies whilst following childcare regulations and National Quality Standards
•Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning
•Develop strategies to guide children's behaviour positively
•Establish close positive reciprocal relationships with children, families and staff
•Observe and record children's interests, strengths and abilities using electronic portfolios
•Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

What you'll need to succeed

•Qualification in Early Years Education (Certificate III, Diploma, ECT)
•A valid Working with Children's Check for NSW
•An up to date first aid & CPR certificate for NSW
•Previous experience in an early years education setting (at least 6 months)
