Your new company
Our client is reputable company that operates a fleet of buses that are hired by multiple large companies across Melbourne. They are looking for a qualified and experienced diesel mechanic to join their workshop team and assist with the maintenance, services and repairs or their company owned vehicles
Your new role
Within this position you will be required to undertake daily operations including diagnosing, maintenance, major/minor service and repairs on buses and breakdowns as required. You will be working predominantly within a workshop and will have a keen eye for detail as well as be extremely safety focused.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade Qualified Level 3 certification in your specific diesel automotive field (heavy vehicle)
- Experience working on buses or trucks preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Industry supporting references
- Current Drivers licence – opportunities are available to obtain a HR licence
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to commit to night shift permanently
