This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager to join a reputable organisation that is dedicated to helping Victorian's when they need it the most. You will be joining a busy and vibrant team who are committed in achieving outcomes, you will be technically savvy and approachable for your teams development. Your new role
You will be reporting to the Manager of the Accounts Receivable Collections team, some of your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

  • Accountability for commercial and consumer debt portfolios, accounts receivable cash management, banking and receipting, included associated reconciliations, analysis and reporting
  • Managing External Debt Collection Agencies and supporting the service contract to maximise debt recovery
  • Identifying key priorities, reviewing internal processes and championing improvements
  • Increasing the capability of individuals and the team to ensure delivery of departmental goals

What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to be successful in this role, you will be someone who can manage your workload and competing priorities in an organised and methodical way, whilst also retaining flexibility to pivot and adapt in a fast-move environment. You will also bring:

  • Experience working in account management
  • A comprehensive knowledge of system processes, records and data capture requirements for compliance
  • Proven leadership ability, with the capacity to motivate staff in office and remote working locations
  • Advanced stakeholder relationship skills
  • The capability to achieve KPI's through implementing best practice
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Regularly monitor and assess performance, conduct performance review meetings to address performance gaps, develop learning plans, share and recognise performance achievements, targets and goals building a culture of excellence.
