A group of talented Canowindra Pony Club members recently competed with distinction at the North West Equestrian Expo, Australia's largest high school interschool equestrian event, held in Coonabarabran.
Representing their respective high schools, Josie Brown, Imogen Thurgate, Audrey and Charlotte Pearce, Olivia Mackenzie, Samantha and Sarah Noakes achieved outstanding results across a range of disciplines, proudly showcasing their skills on a national stage.
These achievements reflect the riders' dedication, passion and the strong foundation provided by their involvement with pony club. The club is incredibly proud of their efforts on such a prestigious platform.
To support the ongoing growth of our riders, events and maintenance of club facilities, Canowindra Pony Club is hosting its annual Swap Meet on Sunday 3 August 2025, from 6.30am at the Canowindra Showground.
Locals are invited to come along and browse stalls featuring second hand goods, tools, clothes, books and household items. With a full canteen, refreshments and something for everyone, it promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
