After more than two decades in Fitzroy Street, Practice Principal Angela Johnstone said it’s been a refreshing change of pace to move to a new premises. 

“After 22 years we have moved and just like Strathfield Car Radios, which is no longer in Strathfield, we are keeping our name,” she said. 

“But we are the same business, same phone numbers, same friendly faces.”

The new building is located at Shop 8, 119 Kendal St, just under the facades up from the NAB. 

“We want to let people know there is longer term parking at the back, entering through Railway Lane,” Ms Johnstone said. 

“There is a sign at the back so they can enter that way if need be, especially for disabled access.”

Ms Johnstone said they were adjusting to their new surroundings and have had positive feedback from clients. 

“The building is very long, it’s not much smaller than where we were before but it’s long and thin,” she said.

“Everyone who has come in says it’s nice, they find us really easily.”

Ms Johnstone says there have been a number of people who have walked in off the street and the location would now better suit local business people working in the CBD. 

"There would be a lot of people who only come to the Central Business Area and didn’t know we existed when we were in Fitzroy St,” she said. 

The only accredited physiotherapy practice in the district, Ms Johnstone said the team offers a wide range of physiotherapy services and also massage, with massage therapist Maree Symons. 

“Relaxation, remedial and pregnancy massage are all available at the practice.”

The practice will also have the same opening hours as it did at the old building. 

“We are open 9am to 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday but on Monday, Wednesday and Friday it is 9am to 5pm.”
