The units faced four tasks that simulate real world tasks their members perform while volunteering.
Cowra SES Unit Controller Ray Johnston said the challenge went well, with all four units per forming excellently.
“The winning unit was Forbes by only one point, their was only five points between the four units so we had a tie for third and fourth place,” he said.
“We were really happy with how the challenge went and we have to give a huge thanks to the rugby committee for the use of the ground, it was well suited to the day, thanks to Waugoola RFS brigade for providing us with one of their tankers and to the community for their support of us”.
Mr Johnston said that any member of the public was welcome to come along and visit their training nights or call the SES information number on 1800 201 000.
