Mr Donato, who won the Orange seat in a by-election upset has been campaigning throughout the Cootamundra electorate for Mr Statdmiller was at the Cowra Tennis Club booth when it opened at 8am this morning.
He is expected to be at the booth throughout the day while Mr Statdmiller visits booths throughout the electorate on election day.
Speaking about the chance of the Shooters Party winning the seat which has been a safe National Party seat, Mr Donato said he was hopeful but admitted you can’t be confident regarding election results.
With more than 15,000 pre-poll votes lodged for today’s election a result is not expected until after 9pm tonight at the earliest.
