Social bowls were played last Thursday, October 5 then on Tuesday, October 10 turn around triples were played, which everyone enjoyed.
Princess of the green was played on Tuesday, Jan Saurine defeated Cathy Howarth. Marlene Nicholls was the winner of the resting toucher for the month of September.
It has been decided this year to have a combined presentation night between the ladies’ and men’s bowling clubs on Saturday, December 2 from 6pm for 6.30pm start.
Cost for early birds to book and pay before November 11 at $20 a head which entitles each person to a 2-course meal, two bottles of wine on each table, lucky door prize, entertainment (a tribute to “Dolly and Kenny”).
Bookings may be made at the front desk during business hours or from the bar after business hours.
Tables of eight or individuals accepted. Bookings made after November 11 will cost $25 a head.
