Joined by former MP Katrina Hodgkinson, Ms Cooke visited the Bendigo Bank Cowra Agency, Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre and Carinya Early Childhood Centre. She said, if elected, she hopes to work closely with council and local community groups.
“Cowra is a wonderful community… the business community is strong here, your council is so proactive and has the best interest of everybody at heart,” she said.
Ms Cooke says she comes from a very strong, small business background and looks forward to the opportunity to represent the electorate.
“But the last ten years I’ve dedicated my life and time to building up a very successful flower business, I’ve got… an incredible team that are able to pick that up and run with it in my absence.
“I don’t take this seat for granted and I never will. I will be here everyday fighting for my right to represent them.”
