Hitting the road for children

More than forty cyclists made their way through Cowra on Monday and Tuesday for the Camp Quality’s 1,000 K’s 4 Kids bike ride.

The ride, which raises awareness and funds for children growing up with cancer, kicked off on September 8 and will finish up on September 17. This year’s route will travel from Benalla, making their way to Warners Bay, NSW, stopping in many towns along the way.

The team have stopped in places such as Albury, Wagga Wagga, Temora, Grenfell and Parkes and will hit Wellington, Gulong, Merriwa and Muswellbrook in the next few days.

At the time of publication, $330,597 has been raised for the cause so far, with a target of $400,000.

Camp Quality delivers essential services for children impacted by cancer, and their families.
