It’s alleged the incident involved a number of males, with police anticipating they’ll make further charges.
According to police, the parties involved sustained no injuries.
It led to an increased police presence in Cowra, with members of the Public Order Response Group, Canobolas Local Area Command and neighboring Lachlan Area Command all attending.
As a result of the fight, two men aged 22 years old and 21 years old have been charged with affray.
Police say the altercation was related to an incident on Back Street earlier that day.
Cowra police Inspector Adam Beard said inquiries into the matter are continuing, and that they expect to lay more charges.
“This incident led to an increased police presence in the Cowra area to discourage any further altercations between those involved.
“At this stage it appears as though there were no further incidents between the parties.”
The 22-year-old and 21-year-old men charged with affray will appear at Cowra Local Court at a later date.
