A small ceremony was held at the Cenotaph outside of the RSL sub-Branch rooms on Friday, with those in attendance braving rain.
The day also marked the 51st anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan and the 42nd year since the end of the Vietnam War.
Cowra RSL sub-Branch member Tom Humphries said while there is a focus on the Battle of Long Tan, it was important to remember the fallen and injured from all conflicts during the years of the Vietnam War.
Wreaths were then laid at the Cenotaph from members of different units and battalions and representatives from the Cowra community.
Approximately 60,000 Australian soldiers served and 521 died in Vietnam between 1962 and 1972.
