Dana Watene looms as a threat in the Cowra Services Club Stakes (453m), targeting his second win in five starts and his 11th career triumph.
The dog of 60 starts by Black Magic Opal and Dana Moo will launch from box one in the race worth $270-to-the-winner.
He’ll likely find a challenge in Lorraine Roy’s trained Meale’s Chance who is aiming for a 12th victory in his 53rd start.
In form chaser Ragnarok will be among the hopes, chasing a third victory from his latest four starts, while Dana Watene’s kennelmate Full Count will feature in box seven.
McDonald will be confident he can secure the winner’s prize in race seven, with four of his chasers going head to head over the 327m journey.
Dana Piper, Dana Scar and Dana Moocha will leave the gates from boxes one to three respectively, while Dana Makin will leave box six.
Dana Scar carries the most impressive record over the track and distance, having registered 18.95s at the track back in October last year.
The nine race program begins from 1pm this Saturday afternoon.
