The pursuit began about 4pm, June 20 on Redfern Street after local Highway Patrol detected an unregistered maroon VT Holden Commodore.
Police tried to stop the vehicle but it fled and was last seen traveling south on Redfern Street.
A pursuit began as a result, but it was soon terminated after the vehicle allegedly reached speeds of more than 100km/hr in 50km/hr zones.
About half an hour later, 4.30pm, police seized the vehicle on Back Street, Cowra.
Police are appealing to the driver, who they believe is a man, to present themselves to police.
“We’re very concerned about the manner of driving of this person. And the danger this person placed the community under while continuing to drive,” Cowra Police Inspector Adam Beard said.
Anyone with information in relation to the identity of the driver should contact police.
