Between the four members of staff, 26 students and a host of parents $852 was raised at the event which unfolded on Tuesday, June 20.
“We were a little bit overwhelmed,” one of student’s parents Bill Larsen said.
The school supports various charities each year but this was the first time it had hosted a Biggest Morning Tea.
Students made a donation at morning tea and parents chipped in as well when they arrived.
Members of the student representative council presented the $852 cheque to Cowra Cancer Action Group representatives Hazel Seears and Barbara Newham.
The school plans to continue their support of the Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea in 2018.
