Cowra’s mid-season slump continued on Sunday suffering a 5-0 loss at Mudgee in round 10 Bathurst Football Association Premier League action.

The result marks Cowra’s fourth straight loss which sees them slip out of the competition’s top four for the first time since the opening rounds.

With eight weeks remaining in the regular season, the Eagles have time to regroup and reclaim a finals spot.

This week they travel to Bathurst where they meet Abercrombie FC.

In the two sides previous encounter, Abercrombie scored a 4-3 victory despite Toby Baker’s hat-trick heroics. It’s at Proctor Park, 3pm Sunday.
