The cinema is run by Cowra Shire Council with community groups hiring it for screenings to them raise funds for other activities.
Thirty five films have screened at the cinema in the past 12 months with users ranging from the town’s Youth Council to the CWA.
More than 1300 cinema lovers have attended the screenings with audience numbers averaging 42.
Council is currently considering an increase in support for the cinema, necessary due to an increase in public screening licence fees and costs associated with increased use of the cinema.
Council will vote on whether to provide the funds, an additional $7,024, at its monthly meeting on Monday, June 26.
