To help them celebrate the Cowra Craft Shop is reaching out to the public to help them get back in contact with former members and their families, so they can attend the shop’s 40th anniversary luncheon.
Craft Shop Coordinator, Leonna Steen, said the shop had contacts for some of the former members but needed help getting more.
"We've done a window display and put a bit of history in it, which is also asking people if they know anybody or can put us in contact with past members," she said.
"At this stage all we are planning is a luncheon, but we do plan to keep updating the window to keep people interested and keep it out there."
Recipients of the Craft Shop’s donations include local schools, the Cowra Eisteddfod, Cowra Hospital, the Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, the CWA and Yalbillinga Boori Day Care Centre.
