Heritage vehicle enthusiasts came out in force after dusting off their cars, bikes, trucks and tractors to display them at Bryant Park on National Heritage Motoring Day, Sunday, May 21.

It was of no consequence whether vehicles were showing the signs of years of use or painstakingly restored, since the community spirit enhanced by getting together and keeping motoring history alive is the tie which binds.
Some on a leisurely Sunday afternoon drive spotted the line up, enticing them to call by for a closer look.
American vintage Chevrolets and Fords of the 1920’s took us back to the early days of production line automobile manufacturing. American cars of the 60s and 70s whooped of the era of big is beautiful and cheap petrol.
MGA & Bs and Bryan Dawes’ red hot Sunbeam Tiger from the 1960s were reminders of the heyday of British sports cars.
Devotees of two wheels brought their bikes.
A couple of heritage trucks came along too.
Clive Chew, a heritage tractor and stationary engine admirer, has restored many bits and bobs of past agriculturally significant machinery.
He loaded his 44 year old Dodge truck with his magnificently restored 73 year old John Deere tractor.
Following the display an easy-going drive took everyone to Morris Park, Canowindra, for a BYO afternoon tea, a sit down and catch up chat.
Waiting was an extremely rare veteran car of French origin, a F.L.
It is believed the car, owned by the Hamiltons of Canowindra, is the only one in Australia.
