Cowra’s speedway ace Brady Kurtz has stamped his authority on the world stage of speedway racing, qualifying through to the finals of the World under 21 Speedway Championships.

Kurtz put together an excellent display of racing finishing second on 14 points only being beaten once by the winner Maksym Drabic from Poland on 15 point maximum.
“Really happy to be through to under 21 final. Been a tough few years in U21. But we are on track,” Brady told his Twitter followers on Friday night.
The qualifier was held on Friday, May 19.
The second and third qualifier will be held Saturday May 20, 2017 in Eskilstuna, Sweden and Teranzano, Italy respectively.
Australia will be represented by Jack Holder and Max Fricke where they will also bid for a place in the final series.
Adding to Brady’s busy international schedule, the finals will be held over three rounds.
Round one Sunday, July 23 at Poznan, Poland.
Round two, September 8 at Gustrow, Germany.
Round three, Pardubice, Czech Republic.
