Staff and volunteers of the aged care residence held a cupcake decorating day to celebrate Mother’s Day, with a number of the residents attending.
Carol Lynch, who helped organise the day, said the residents were learning a variety of cupcake-decorating techniques.
"We are holding a Mother's Day cupcake decorating day with residents, their families and friends," she said.
"We are showing them how to ice them and they can decorate them however they like.”
The day also featured a delicious afternoon tea and the residents were able to enjoy their creations on the day.
Ms Lynch said it was a way to bring families together for the occasion.
"It's a demonstration of an activity to get the families together and they get to eat them for afternoon tea," she said.
"We are trying all different techniques.”
