The Cowra Community Markets held a successful 1st birthday party last Saturday, March 18 at the monthly event at the Cowra Showground Pavilion.
Originally opening with 10 stalls in 2016, the markets have grown to host over 30 stalls that can provide everything from jams, preserves, honey, eggs and baked goodies to candles, beauty products, clothing, leather goods, plants and hand-painted garden pots.
With cake and balloons alongside the regular market goodies of hot food, coffee and cold drinks, meats, fruit and vegetables, oils, soaps and distilled drinks, the party was well attended by plenty of members of the Cowra community.
Held every month entry to the markets is free, but a gold coin donation is gratefully received to allow Cowra Community Chest to financially assist residents of Cowra Shire who are experiencing a medical condition.
