For the first time ever there were no tee shots reaching the greens on the fifth, seventh and 14th greens, so next week we will all have to pay special attention to those tee shots.

Ball winners were Carmel Mansell, Jenny Dresser, Carole Doyle, Trish Moerkerken and Helen Butler. Balls went to 29 points.

The raffle donated by Jenni Fagan was won by Carmel Mansell for the second time in three weeks. Some people can just be lucky.

It was a wonderful to welcome Deb Gumley and Marcia Ryan back to golf.

Next week the first club medal will be played over 18 holes stroke with the second H and V pointscore rounds played in conjunction.
