David was joined by fellow Engadine young gun Luke Grainger along with Taren Point stalwart John Green, completing the quartet was Ross Maguire from the Wagga Rules Club.
Ferguson’s margin was a whopping 65 shots more than the second placed team of K Cummings, G Jones, G Frost and L Gore all from the Blakehurst Club.
The top two were the only undefeated teams.
Pedro Rudd’s team with five wins and a draw in the last game came in third.
Pedro also won the drawing competition on the Monday night, with Aaron Teys wining the driving competition.
Business House Bowls Summer event
Thirt-six businesses competed in the event this year with our named sponsor being Cowra Information Neighborhood Centre.
During February they run their Bring Healthy Back which fits nicely with this event.
After the completion of the six rounds we had two undefeated teams namely Datavoice Communications (title holders from the spring event) and JP Plumbing.
A two end play-off was required to find a winner.
With the crowd vying for a vantage spot on the new viewing deck, the combatants took to the green.
JP Plumbing were too strong in the shoot out winning 5-0, and bragging rights for the event.
