Emily was attended by her bridesmaids, Kirsty Tapscott, Kylie Morris and Lauren Mitchell.
Paul was accompanied by Paul Ray, Matthew Brown and Reece Jameson.
The flower girls were Emily and Paul's daughter, Zali, and niece of the groom, Marlowe Mitchell.
The bride was escorted down by the aisle by her mother Trish Langfield and step-father John Mackenzie.
Readings were delivered by Emily's cousins Tara Poladian and Samantha Morgan, by her aunt Angela Colavito and by Paul's aunt, Carrie Barr.
At the beginning of the service, against the majestic backdrop of the stained glass windows, Emily lit a candle in memory of her sister, Annie.
Emily looked stunning in a figure-hugging, mermaid-shaped wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a long line bodice in Guipure lace.
Hand-finished lace trailed over a gathered single-layer soft tulle skirt.
The very long aisle of St. Peter and Paul's Church allowed Emily's long veil to feature beautifully as she walked into the church.
The bridesmaids wore high twist chiffon and satin dusty peach dresses.
After the ceremony, photographs were taken around Docklands.
In a sudden windy moment, Emily's veil flew off into the Yarra River to provide an extra special photographic memory!
The reception was held at Berth, by the water at Docklands, where the night lights of Melbourne provided a fairy-like surround.
Guests came from Abu Dabi, Darwin, Queensland and Cowra and enjoyed being able to step out onto the verandah to delight in the atmosphere and water views.
Emily's grandmother, Margaret Wykamp and Paul's grandfather, Arthur Grubb were special guests of honour at the festivities.
Memorable speeches were made by the Mother of the Bride and the Father of the Groom.
The breakfast the next day was held at Medici on the Promenade at the Docklands.
