You can now recognise the achievements of a local senior by nominating them for the 2017 NSW Seniors Local Achievement Awards.
"Seniors make a huge contribution to our community and the NSW Seniors Local Achievement Awards are an opportunity to thank a senior for everything they do to make our community a better place," member for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson said.
"I am calling on individuals or organisations in the Cootamundra electorate to nominate seniors who are making a real difference to the lives of those around them."
The 2017 NSW Seniors Local Achievement Awards can celebrate seniors' achievements across a range of categories including business, environment, science, agriculture, health and wellbeing, learning and community service.
Nominations for the 2017 NSW Seniors Local Achievement Awards are open until close of business, Friday 24 February, 2017. The awards will be presented in conjunction with the NSW Seniors Festival, from 3 - 12 March.
