Led by Graham Thompson, division four has registered back to back triumphs defeating Bathurst and Parkes in the opening two rounds.
The result puts Cowra in the driving seat for a semi finals berth with three rounds remaining.
On Sunday, division four registered a resounding 5-0 victory at Bathurst Golf Course as Thompson (3 and 1), Jono Gee (4 and 3), Darrell Coleman (5 and 4), Peter Bryson (7 and 6) and Chris Day (8 and 7) all won their respective matches.
They were Cowra’s only winners on the day as division one (2-3) and division two (2-3) suffered their second straight defeats and division three (2-3) was unable to repeat its round one performance.
This Sunday, Cowra is hosting round three of the pennant competition.
All divisions have a bye and will return to action the following week at Parkes.
