Who'd have thought she could top the 2014 GQ interview (and super sexy NSFW shoot) where she spoke of earning admission into the mile high club, with a partner and alone?

"Let's put it this way, I've had an orgasm in the air before. Alone. And together," she told the journalist.

In the same interview Kerr also talked about how sex kept the model and skincare entrepreneur in tip-top shape. "One thing I've noticed is now that I'm having less sex my body isn't as toned. The more sex I have, the more defined my arms and stomach get," she said. Presumably inspiring millions of people to discard their Stairmaster and light some mood-enhancing candles.

Anyway, we digress. Because now Kerr's sex life has changed. But maybe not on her terms. According to a very compelling interview to amiable journalist Richard Godwin, Kerr got to talking about sex (or lack of) when she asked Godwin what kind of birth control he used with his partner.

This is the rundown of what happened:

"'So what are you using for protection? Are you pulling out or what?'" asks Kerr during her tête-à-tête with Godwin at a Hollywood bar.

Godwin, rather off-guard given journalists are meant to be the ones asking personal questions, tells Kerr that it was, in fact, a personal question. Then he says, "birth control?"

Kerr then yelped that she wasn't using birth control, and no she wasn't trying to have another baby.

She then says this: "Not yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional."

Godwin is then confused. He thinks to himself, "I am clearly so out of the loop when it comes to millennial sex trends," before he picks up what he thinks she is putting down. "[S]he appears to be telling me that she and the man she is marrying have never had sex."

He presses her on the "traditional" bit and Kerr "winces."

"We can't . . . I mean we're just . . . waiting," she says.

It appears to Godwin that Kerr is a little sad about this as she nods "dolorously" at Godwin's surprise at her confession. Then she burst into giggles.

The whole exchange is, of course, fascinating. Not least because Godwin had started his profile with the list of the topics that Kerr was not prepared to talk about (her ex, her impending marriage to Spiegel) in the common parlance of celebrity profiles. And Kerr went totally, gloriously off-piste.

A woman who enjoys sex is a great thing, and given that we actually don't know any of the, erm, ins and outs of Kerr and Spiegel's relationship, here's hoping Kerr gets what she wants/needs out of their partnership.

Of the other interesting titbits to glean from the interview (including the very nice one that Kerr is donating her fee for her collaboration with the jeans brand Mother to the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney and that her son Flynn drinks "noni juice" and that it's a "blessing" to watch him grow up) is this: she is no fan of Facebook.

While her fiancé hasn't said zip about Facebook launching Instagram stories (a similar concept as Snapchat where "stories" last for 24 hours), Kerr was a little more willing to speak up, telling Godwin,

"I cannot STAND Facebook."

"Can they not be innovative? Do they have to steal all of my partner's ideas? I'm so appalled by that . . . When you directly copy someone, that's not innovation." Kerr then panics about interview approval and then, clearly thinks, well, bugger it.

"Oh I don't even care. It's a disgrace. How do they sleep at night?"

Facebook had tried to buy Snapchat for billions in 2013, but Spiegel turned them down.

Perhaps they might have fared better had Kerr been on-hand to do their PR.
