Local young people aged 15 – 24 have the opportunity to get a head start in the job stakes with the Skills4Trade program being run by Skillset Workforce and TAFE Western starting soon in Cowra.

The free program, involves training at TAFE Western and work placements and support from Skillset Workforce. There are 5 courses being offered in Cowra: Engineering/Automotive, Business and Hospitality/Retail.
Josh Trail, a participant from the Skills4Trade pilot run late last year has just started an apprenticeship as a result of doing the program.
“I’m really glad I did the course and now I have a job,” he said.
