Prestigious and controversial, the Archibald Prize is Australia’s foremost portraiture prize.
The exhibition launch at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery, 77 Darling Street, Cowra is on Friday, January 20 commencing at 6.30pm.
This includes a welcome to visitors by Cr Bill West, Mayor Cowra Shire Council and on behalf of ANZ Principal Sponsor Mr Craig Clarke, ANZ District Manager, Central West and Riverina.
The exhibition will be opened by Natalie Wilson, Curator Australian and Pacific Art AGNSW.
Special guest is Betina Fauvel-Ogden, Archibald Prize finalist and winner of the Packing Room Prize.
Entry is $10 ($6 Friends of the Gallery).
