The three day tournament pits together four teams encompassing the best players from each country cricket zone in NSW.
Cowra District Cricket Association president Greg Nicholls, who is the tournament coordinator, is thrilled to secure the high performance carnival.
“Bruce Whitehouse [NSW competitions and country programs manager] rang me a couple of days after the Regional Bash final asking if we’d like to host it, I said of course,” Greg Nicholls said.
“It’s a forerunner for Country NSW/ACT under 19s selection next year.
“It’ll help give selectors an indication of what’s on offer.”
Games will be played at Holman and Twigg Ovals, making it convenient for officials to wander between grounds.
Western Zone will team up with Riverina.
Nicholls says a number of Western players will be in contention in particularly Dubbo's Marty Jeffrey and Bathurst's Ryan Peacock.
The tournament begins from Friday, February 3.
