Following on from the hugely successful inaugural All Stars at Cowra in April in 2016, Group 10 officials confirmed the clash will again be played in 2017, with Blayney to host the second installment of the hugely popular pre-season clash when the Indigenous All Stars take on the Group 10 All Stars
The match takes on extra meaning for the Blayney and Orange communities, with the man of the match awarded the Terry Brown medal.
Brown was named to play halfback for the Indigenous outfit before going missing off the north coast of NSW the week leading into the clash.
With rule changes generating fast-paced rugby league, the Indigenous side won 52-24 last year.
Group 10 will meet before Christmas to confirm the date, with the second or third weekend in March
Indigenous All Stars skipper Will Ingram and Group 10 All Stars counterpart Kurt Hancock will again look after their respective outfits.
Ingram says both are keen to experiment with a host of rule changes, last year’s power play – where the attacking side enjoyed a 13 on 10 players advantage for five minutes – particularly thrilling for the fans.
