You’ll have the opportunity to do just that at Friday’s Cowra Triathlon Club Bron Porter Massage Superhero Teams Night.
Grab two friends, your superhero cape and join in the fun for free.
There are two courses to choose from and each competitor completes one leg each.
Kids Course (parents can participate in this with their kids) involves a swim across the pool, a 600 metre bike ride and a 400 metre run.
The Novice/Beginners Course is a 50 metre swim, a 2km ride and an 800 metre run.
Just one Cowra Triathlon Club member per team.
Last week
Last week the club saw 58 competitors race with lots of new faces again.
If you are interested in taking up the sport Friday night would be a great introduction, either as a competitor or spectator.
Due to the numbers in the Novice course two races were held.
Numbers have also increased in the two lap course with most competitors stepping straight up to the longer distance.
If numbers continue in this vein we’ll see two races held over the longer course very soon.
After two hectic and rough swim legs competitors are reminded that there are three legs to triathlon. It’s better to start out slower and work your way into the race.
