Widespread flooding of the Lachlan River has resulted in traffic delays and road closures for motorists travelling into Cowra from Grenfell and Young.

According to Live Traffic NSW, the Lachlan Valley Way is closed in both directions between Legh St and Morongla Rd.
Motorists are advised to use the Olympic Highway to access Young, Harden and the Hume Highway.
The Lachlan Valley Way from Gooloogong to Cowra is also shut in both directions.
The RFS are also attending to storm water drains just past the Cowra Showground and are diverting traffic around their work.
Motorists should expect delays coming in from Grenfell and Young.
Delays of up to 40 minutes have been recorded from the intersection of River Park Rd and the Mid Western Highway to the traffic lights near the bridge.
