Cowra greyhound trainer Rodney McDonald says his motivation to race dogs has diminished after the Baird Goverment passed legislation to ban the sport from July 1 next year.

He said the racing community is hurting.
“Even the mood at the track. No one wants to be there, they race their dogs and go home. It’s like a wake or funeral and it’s only going to get worse,” McDonald said.
