“We had a good response to the various design options presented as part of the public exhibition for the CBD Footpath Reconstruction Project earlier this year, with many of the design elements unanimously favoured over others,” Cowra Mayor, Councillor Bill West said.
“In response to feedback received we will be encompassing both blocks of the CBD - from Brisbane Street to Lachlan Street - in this next stage of design and costing.
Council has also received conditional approval from the RMS to proceed with plans for the CBD rejuvenation,” cr West said.
