Second half goals to Perry Wiegold and Max Wensley gave Cowra the advantage, and the competition points, ahead of this weekend’s final regular round.
“I had it down as a danger game having beaten them easily previously, so it was good the boys stayed upbeat,” coach Adam Grambrill said.
Cowra face Lithgow Rangers this Sunday and are looking to seal second place. The two sides’ last encounter resulted in a 9-nil win to Cowra.
Gambrill’s, who’s in his first year as coach, says Cowra need to turn out a performance that’s worthy of a win, and added how satisfied he is with the season so far.
