The Happy Bodies at Work seminar will be a breakfast seminar held at the Cowra Services Club Wednesday February 24 from 7.30am to 8.30am.
The Happy Body at Work is an innovative wellness program that focuses on the four key lifestyle habits of sitting less, moving more, recognising and coping with stress and improving sleep. It provides employers and employees with simple practical strategies to improve their energy, performance and resilience.
Registration for the seminar can be made at the Cowra Information and Community Centre by calling 6340 1100 or by emailing admin@cinc.org.au
To get children involved in the challenge a logo competition will be run for students.
Entries need to be reproducible, versatile, creative and must contain the words 'Cowra Bring Healthy back', they also must be on a A4 size piece of paper.
Entries need to be submitted to the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre on Vaux Street with name and school on the back of the entry by February 17 for judging on February 18.
The winner will receive a $50 voucher for Sports Power and the winners school will receive a $200 sports package.
The winners logo will be used on on t-shirts, posters, and pamphlets
