Mikla Lewis from Weddin/Lachlan WIRES says birds and reptiles are particularly vulnerable during warmer months, with many species coming to the area for breeding including Kingfishers and Rainbow Bee-eaters.
"If you're driving anywhere and anytime and you see a bird on the road, beep the horn to scare them off. Don't presume they will get off the road," Mrs Lewis said.
"We also get a lot of snake calls. If you don't want reptiles in your backyard, tidy it up and don't leave tiles, bricks or corrugated iron lying around."
Mrs Lewis says snakes are timid, shy and will want to leave humans alone.
"Never try to catch or kill a snake, always wear proper shoes and take a mobile phone with you," she said.
"We live in Australia and venomous snakes are a part of our wildlife."
WIRES also receives calls to help rescue Macropods, Kangaroos, Possums and Bats who are often caught in barbed wire or nets over fruit trees in Summer.
Mrs Lewis says if people come across injured wildlife that it's important to quickly report it and include all of the relevant information.
"Get the exact location, tell us how many kilometres from the nearest town or the name of the closest property."
