Ellie Stephens will put on her judging cap next month and the Cowra Show Society is currently seeking this year's contestants.
Organiser Trish Gunderson encourage any young women between the ages of 18 and 25 at May 2016 to enter the competition.
"It's a great opportunity for girls to meet like-minded young women who are passionate about their town and want to chance to represent our community," she said.
"It's also a wonderful chance to work on your interview skills and confidence."
Hoping for five to seven entrants, Trish said that while it's a competition, there's also a relaxed side to it.
"It promotes young independent women who strive for purpose and ambition but at the heart of it, it's all a bit of fun and we want the girls to enjoy it," she said.
Entries for this year's Cowra Showgirl close next Friday, September 4.
Judging will be held on Saturday, September 12, with the announcement of the winner to be made at the cocktail party that night.
Entry forms are available from the Cowra Show Office or by calling Trish on 0431 726 174.
