Funding has been provided for the purchase and installation of an automatic trap machine and modifications to the trap house at the Cowra Gun Club.
"The main aim of this program is to increase the safety at shooting facilities in NSW as well as during club sponsored activities held away from a club's permanent base," Katrina said.
"I congratulate Cowra Gun Club on their successful application and look forward to seeing the benefits of this upgrade.
"It is a great pleasure to assist local clubs by providing the funds to increase the availability, standard and quality of sport facilities in the Cootamundra electorate," Katrina added.
Peter Mould, President of the Cowra Gun Club said that the Cowra Gun Club was very pleased to have been successful with its application for funding under the Safe Shooting Program.
"We are looking forward to the installation of our new equipment which will improve the safety of our members and our facility," Mr Mould said.
