Entry is free to this two-day event on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 at Woodstock Showground.
Although it's a two-day show, there are actually three shows jampacked in those two days. Kickoff is 9am on both days.
Seven rings are in operation for Toys (the breathing type, not the stuffed ones), Terriers, Gundogs, Hounds, Working Dogs, Utility (multi-purpose, not the ones you drive) and Non-Sporting (which may or may not mean they are no good at footy or cricket).
Saturday has two shows, one will finish about 12.30pm and another will start, with judges rotating so they don't see the same dogs again.
In each group, breeds are judged alphabetically, so if you are wanting to see the Border Collies, then wait at the Working Dog ring and after Australian Cattle Dogs, Australian Kelpies and Australian Shepherds along come the Belgian Shepherds and the Borders.
Sunday sees the third show kickoff, again at 9am, so there is plenty to see both days.
There will be refreshments too so if the excitement of watching the Irish Wolfhound eat up the yards as it impresses the judge, just as it did the miles it took to run the wolf to ground, is too much to bear, well a coffee will fix it!
So come along, if you get there half way through the first show Saturday, hang around for Best In Show which will be in the ring marked 'General Specials' then very quickly you will see the breeds you missed.
Don't forget, entry is free.
