The culture of the Republic of Korea will be on display this year, with food, cultural activities and entertainment on offer.
Traffic will be detoured along College Drive, Liverpool and Lachlan Streets while the parade takes place.
Roads closed include Taragala Street, from Brougham to Vaux Streets; Brougham Lane to Brougham Street; Brisbane Street Street, from Brougham to Parkes Street; and Darling Street, from Brougham Street to Parkes Street.
Fitzroy Street will operate in one lane only.
The marshalling area is at the Cowra Aquatic Centre from 1.45pm.
Floats must be assembled by 2.15pm before the parade moves off to Brougham Park at 2.30pm.
The parade will culminate in the festival carnival and Harvest in the Park markets.
Entertainment kicks off at 3pm and the markets will run until 8pm.
Festival chairperson Cr Ruth Fagan said it's not the first time the parade has been held away from the main street.
She said it should be a lovely walk "hill-wise" along Brougham Street as marchers make their way to the park.
"It should be a great afternoon," Cr Fagan said.
"We really need people to line the street."
