New sponsor, The Railway Hotel are keen to help see the Eagles replicate the success of the previous years and with the calibre of players running around again, it's certainly going to be big.
Despite losing some key players in the off season, the Juniors are bringing up some young up and comers that will be looking to find their feet early.
Goal scoring sensations and young guns Pat Buttigieg and Bede Leyland will be sure to guide the new players and help them get off to successful senior careers.
The men will again be looking to field two teams in the Bathurst based competition.
Meanwhile the girls are currently struggling for numbers with several key players moving away for University and employment opportunities.
The call has been made for any females even remotely keen, to register your interest.
With the loss of plenty of experience the girls will be looking at dropping down a grade, to make it less intimidating for any players keen to give it a go and combine the enjoyable social aspects of the club with a bit of fun and fitness thrown in.
Training for all interested players is kicking off on Thursday February 12 at the ground near the Netball courts on Pitt Street around 6:30pm.
Coach Sean Leyland is excited for the year ahead and the group of young men coming up into the seniors.
"I have coached a few of them in younger grades and they are strong players, I think they will be looking forward to the chance of playing with some of the experienced heads already in the team," he said.
The over 35s are also kicking off with some of the regular early season tournaments coming up quickly in Goulburn and Wagga.
It will be a big year ahead, so come and join in with the best sporting club in Cowra, the Premiership winning Eagles.
You can find us on Facebook, at the Railway Hotel on Wednesday and Friday nights running raffles, our website www.cowraseniorsoccer.com or just come along to training, 6.30pm on February 12.
