This wasn't to be the highlight of the round however, as Mick Curtale once again put Canowindra to the sword scoring a flawless 132 at Holman Oval in his teams total of 180.
Bowling Club went on to restrict Canowindra to 75 from their 20 overs with the loss of eight wicket to score their first Twenty20 win of the season.
Prior to this match Grenfell opened their Twenty20 account with a 23 run win over Valleys.
Batting first the visitors scored 153 with the majority of batsmen contributing.
Ben Mitton set the platform with a well made 35 at the top of the order, he was well supported by Zach Starr (27), Terry Knight (21) and Josh Edwards (49).
In reply, Valleys threatened to reach the total as they scored consistently at seven an over, but the applied pressure in the final overs left the green and golds on 130 and winless in the Twenty20 competition.
Jackson Moodie (48 not out) steered the innings as Jarrod Mason (28) and Greg Garlick (20) also chipped in with handy knocks.
Cowra cricket now breaks for three weeks before returning on January 10 for round three of the Twenty20 competitions.
